Carlos H. Gonzalez, Jr.

Carlos H. Gonzalez, Jr., 68, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Carolos H. Gonzalez, Sr. and Rosa Molini Arroyo. He was the husband of Madeline Valentin with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Of the Christian Faith, Carlos proudly served in the US Army as a maintenance technician and retired after 30 years of faithful service.

Carlos enjoyed cooking all kinds of food and earned a diploma as a chef. He was always known as a hard worker and had a very mechanical mind and was able to fix anything. Carlos had 9 Bichons for which he cared. They provided him with much joy. More than anything, Carlos loved his family and spending time with them.

In addition to his wife, Valentin, Carlos is survived by 2 daughters, 2 sons, and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister.

Family and friends will be received from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 10, at the Snyder Bean Funeral Home, 890 Isabel Dr., Lebanon, PA 17042. An additional viewing will be held from 11AM to 12PM, Thursday, September 11. Funeral Services will follow at 12PM. Carlos will be laid to rest with military honors at 2PM, following the funeral at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
