Edith A. "Edie" Brown

Edith A. “Edie” Brown, 75, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Raymond E. Brown whom she married May 17, 1969. Edie was born in Lebanon on July 28, 1943, daughter of the late Lee and Sarah Shuey Shertzer.
Edie was a retired secretary for the Cornwall-Lebanon School District and had held several secretarial positions in the Lebanon area over the years. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Lebanon where she had been a member of the choir.
In addition to her husband, Edie is survived by her daughters, Kristen English of Lebanon, Susan, wife of Jonathan Bonomolo of Jacksonville, NC, grandchildren, Tiana Felty, Brianna Folk, great grandchildren, Jayden, Axel, Donovin, her brother, Frederick, husband of Gloria Shertzer of Lebanon.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Edie’s funeral services on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 9:30 AM from Grace United Church of Christ, 1000 S. 5th Ave, Lebanon, with Rev. Johnnie Lengel officiating. Friends will be received Thursday beginning at 9:00 AM to time of service at the church. Interment will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Please omit flowers, memorial contributions in Edie’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
