John Frank Reinhart Sr.

John Frank Reinhart Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on April 2, 2026. Born on Valentine’s Day in 1945 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, John lived a life marked by kindness, conversation, and a deep love for his family and the people around him.

In his earlier years, John worked as a garbage truck driver for TNT, where he showed a strong work ethic and dedication throughout his career.

John was known for being incredibly friendly and talkative, always striking up conversations with those around him. Having lived in West Lebanon for many years, he built lasting friendships within his community. He was someone who would always stop to talk, share a story, or simply brighten someone’s day with his presence.

Above all, John was a devoted and deeply loved grandfather whose presence shaped the lives of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in countless ways. He taught

his grandchildren how to fish, a tradition they carry with them today, but it was the time spent together that meant the most. He also enjoyed hunting with his family in his younger years. Time with his family was what he valued most, and the memories he created will be cherished forever.

He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Rebecca Reinhart, Ashley Reinhart, Jordan Reinhart, Justin Speece, David Speece, and Heather Speece, and his great-grandchildren Karleigh, Jayden, Karyssa, and Aubree, all of whom carry forward the love and lessons he shared.

John’s sense of humor, contagious laugh, and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Maryann Reinhart, and was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Reinhart; his son, John Reinhart Jr.; his daughter, Heidi Speece; and his siblings Gail, Janet, Shirley, Robert, Charles, Kenneth, Russell, Richard, Ronald, and Eugene Reinhart.

John Frank Reinhart Sr.’s legacy is one of genuine kindness, connection, and love for family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
