Marie Ann Reed

Marie Ann Reed, 73, of Lebanon, and formerly of Orwigsburg, passed away on October 14, 2026. Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Betty (Heim) Reed.

Marie was a 1971 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and later obtained her bachelor's degree from Penn State University. She worked as an accountant for Met Ed until retirement, and most recently was a secretary for Grace UCC in Lebanon. Marie was an avid Hershey Bears fan, and since 1972 was deemed a #1 fan and attended every game they had. She enjoyed thrift shopping and finding dollhouses, collecting numerous Boyds Bears, and loved to spend time at the beach.

Marie is survived by her sister, Grace E. Gibson, 2 brothers-in-law, Gary Fleischut and Bruce August, and beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Patricia Fleischut, Christine August, and Harriet Footskulak.
