Marvin E. "Marty" Zimmerman

Marvin E. "Marty" Zimmerman, 73, of Lebanon, passed away on October 16, 2026. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Gerald and Jean (Jones) Zimmerman. He was married 42 years to his beloved wife Carolyn (Weaber) Zimmerman.

Marty was a 1971 graduate of Lebanon High School and worked for GLRA (Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority) as a recycling attendant. He was passionate about bowling, never missing a Sunday morning, and participated in local leagues. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and in his younger years enjoyed roller skating, where he met Carolyn.

In addition to his wife, Marty is survived by his daughter Cathy Short (Jeff), black lab Bubba, and cat Skeeter.
