Melanie A. Himmelberger

Melanie A. Himmelberger, 67, of Lebanon, passed away on October 1, 2026, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late James and Bernice (Peffley) Mease. She was married 50 years to her beloved husband Timothy L. Himmelberger.

Melanie graduated from Lebanon High School and worked for many years as an assistant manager for McDonald's. Prior to that, Melanie worked as a housekeeper for local doctor's offices. She absolutely loved crocheting and made many baby blankets over the years to donate to the Ronald McDonald house. Melanie was passionate about researching genealogy and her family was at the center of her world. She and Tim enjoyed spending time together in Cape May.

In addition to Tim, Melanie is survived by 2 children: Faith Williams (Jason) and Joshua Himmelberger; 3 grandsons: Luke, Jack, and Mark Williams; and her sister Brenda Milovich (Ed).
