Pauline Jeannette Riss (née Renner), 90, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Cornwall Manor. She was born September 16, 1933, in Portsmouth, NH. She was predeceased by her parents, Winnifred Veino Renner and Gordon V. Renner; husband Carl J. Riss (Jim) and son James C. Riss. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa J Riss, daughter-in-law, Susan Evans Riss, and grandsons, James N. Riss and Evan C. Riss.

After graduating from Portsmouth High School, she worked as a Secretary for the Portsmouth School District.

She met and married Jim Riss in Portsmouth, NH, on January 5, 1958. They lived and started their family in the Rochester, NY area and later moved to Tewksbury, MA, outside of Boston. Pauline served as church Secretary at Calvary Baptist Church in Lowell, MA. She was an active member of the American Baptist Women's Ministries.

Later in life, they retired to PA to be closer to family. Pauline enjoyed cross stitch, knitting, and crocheting and was an avid Red Sox, Patriots, and Penn State Nittany Lion fan.

The family will hold a memorial service graveside on November 15 at 10 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, where she will be interred with her husband.
